(Concord, NH) – Today, Annie Kuster filed for reelection to Congress representing New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District. Kuster is running for a fifth term. Kuster is a member of the prestigious Energy and Commerce Committee, where she sits on the Health, Energy, and Oversight Subcommittees. You can watch her filing video HERE.

“I am deeply honored and humbled by the trust and responsibility bestowed upon me by the voters of New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District,” said Kuster. “Today I filed for reelection because Granite State families deserve a representative who will fight for them every single day and that is exactly what I have done in Congress. By focusing on bridging the divide between Republicans and Democrats, I have been able to deliver real results for the people of New Hampshire. The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the importance of building on the progress we have made to strengthen our health care system and ensure access to quality affordable care for all. Over the past nearly 4 months, I’ve pushed for funding to support both the economic and health consequences of COVID-19, helping to deliver more than $4 billion in funding to our state.

“Much more work remains and I am committed to increasing economic opportunity across the Granite State, expanding access to broadband internet in all corners of New Hampshire, reducing opioid misuse by ensuring access to treatment for substance use disorder, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, continuing to improve care for our veterans, expanding access to mental health care - especially for our first responders and frontline workers, and protecting our environment. I will always work to make New Hampshire an even better place to live and raise a family.”
