If you’re looking to gain experience on a real grassroots campaign, a Fellowship or Internship with Team Kuster could be for you! Our Fellows and Interns will be an essential part of implementing our field program, and have the chance to gain valuable experience and skills.
Fellowships
Fellowships are full-time, volunteer based positions that provide Fellows with the rare opportunity to a part of our people-powered campaign, and take on real responsibility.
This role requires multi-tasking and meeting strict deadlines. A Fellow must be able to function as a part of a team and at the same time exhibit strong leadership skills. Fellows will be essential in implementing the field program, and will receive professional training and learn about:
- Grassroots campaigning
- Political outreach
- Management
- Training volunteers
- Organizing political and campaign events
- Voter outreach and messaging
- Utilizing and maintaining the voter file
The role of a Fellow includes but is not limited to:
- Directing volunteer and political outreach in a specific region of the district
- Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers
- Training and managing interns
- Carefully maintaining data
- Organizing call and walk sheets for volunteers
We have both summer and fall opportunities available, and Fellows must commit to a minimum two-month position. Supporter housing is available, and all are welcome to apply.
