Is the second time a charm?

That is what Attorney Ann McLane Kuster has to be wondering as she takes a second a stab at challenging U.S. Rep. Charles Bass, attempting to recapture New Hampshire’s 2nd District seat for the Democrats.

A throng of supporters were at the Statehouse on June 7 as Kuster signed up to run.

Candidates at the New Hampshire Democratic Convention said they would stop Republicans from “moving us backward.”

New Hampshire Democrats were fired up at their state party convention this afternoon as their candidates promised to move the country “forward, not back.”

Speeches at the convention, held at Manchester’s Memorial High School, focused on fighting against the “Tea Party radicals” elected to office and continuing to rebuild the economy under President Obama.

Ann McLane Kuster’s campaign released her first-quarter fundraising in her race to displace Rep. Charles Bass (R).

With $350,000 in donations for the first three months of 2012, she built on last year’s fourth-quarter fundraising haul of $325,000.

In addition to the $350,000 raised, she now has more than $1 million in the bank, according to a campaign press release.
